Kashi - Rameshwaram Dharmam
Every day at Dharumapuram Adheenam, during the midday food offerings for devotees, prayers are offered for the eternal continuation of dharma in sacred cities such as Kasi and Rameshwaram. What began as a sacred prayer has now become a living tradition under the divine guidance of the Acharya.
Daily Maheshwara Poojai and food offerings for Siva devotees are now regularly conducted at the mutts of Kasi and Rameshwaram. This sacred service has also been extended to Srikalahasthi and Kanchipuram, strengthening the spiritual bond among these holy centres.
In addition to these sacred institutions, the Adheenam actively carries out educational, religious, and social service programs through its colleges and outreach initiatives. A dedicated local television channel propagates Saiva Dharma, while an online FM station broadcasts rare spiritual recordings preserved in the rich archives of the Adheenam.
The revered Gurumahasannidhanam also delivers weekly spiritual discourses titled “Tirumurai Sinthanaigal”, guiding devotees through the timeless wisdom of Saiva Siddhanta and sacred Tamil literature.
Veda Sivagama Thevara Patasalai
For many years, Dharmapuram Adheenam has remained committed to preserving traditional spiritual knowledge through the Dharumai Adheenam Veda Sivagama Thevara Patasalai. The institution safeguards the sacred traditions of Thevaram chanting, Agama practices, and temple worship through a rigorous five-year curriculum.
The course is offered completely free of cost, providing students with accommodation, food, clothing, and all essential facilities. Students are trained to become highly qualified Sivacharyas capable of conducting daily temple rituals and grand festivals in Shiva temples across the world.
Since its establishment in 1942, the Veda Sivagama Padsalai and Devara Padsalai have educated more than 5,000 students. Many graduates now serve as temple priests, spiritual teachers, and scholars in India and abroad.
In addition to traditional religious education, students also receive spoken English and computer training to support opportunities for temple service internationally. The Veda Siva Agama School established in Kashi is regarded as one of the Adheenam’s most significant educational milestones.

- Structured five-year Agama and Thevaram curriculum
