Music College of Dharumai Adheenam
Located in Thirukkadavoor, Mayiladuthurai district, the Music College of Dharumai Adheenam offers traditional training in Vocal Music, Nadaswaram, Thavil, and Bharatanatyam.
The institution currently nurtures 55 students, preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Tamil music, devotional arts, and classical performance traditions.
Specialties of Dharumai Adheenam Arts College
His Holiness the 25th Guru Mahasannidhanam established the Oriental College in 1946 with diploma programs in Tamil under the approval of Madras University. In 1988, the institution was upgraded into an Arts College and affiliated with Annamalai University.
Located 3 km east of Mayiladuthurai on the Mylarodri–Taranganbadi highway, the college presently functions under the visionary leadership of the 27th Guru Mahasannidhanam, a doctorate holder in Tamil and former professor.
The college offers 7 postgraduate programs, 12 undergraduate programs, 8 diploma courses, and one certificate program under aided and self-financing streams.
Currently, the institution educates 2,210 students including 782 male students and 1,428 female students, supported by 145 dedicated teachers.

Personality Development
Smart classes, English communication training, yoga, and personality development programs are conducted regularly.
Modern Infrastructure & Facilities
The college features a modern library equipped with digital resources, departmental books, and extensive study materials for competitive examinations.
Internet facilities are available for students, and yoga training is conducted regularly to support mental and physical well-being.
A commemorative theatre with a seating capacity of 1,800 students was constructed at a cost of ₹2 crore during the 75th Pawel Festival celebrations.
A dedicated health centre functions for student welfare, while sports students receive professional training and opportunities to participate in district and state-level competitions.
